At the end of the day it’s not about what you have or even what you’ve accomplished… it’s about who you’ve lifted up, who you’ve made better. It’s about what you’ve given back.” ― Denzel Washington

Astbury Mere Trust is a Registered Charity, number 1007740, and relies on public donations to ensure the long term viability of Astbury Mere Country Park and improve its enjoyment by the local community and the many thousands of visitors every year.

The Trust is constantly looking at ways to improve the Park and Community Centre, for example repairing paths, renewing the woodland, providing seating, and making the Park accessible for all.

The Park is home to a wide variety of wildlife, and a haven for waterfowl. A path has been built around the lake that is wheelchair friendly, and is enjoyed by thousands of people all year round. Great views of the Cheshire Staffordshire borders, including Mow Cop, and Congleton Edge.
